Embassy of Hope: The Potential of Jesus’ Church

An embassy is a place of safety...a place where you can find what you need.

Our world needs hope. The only source of hope is Jesus Christ.

His Church, therefore, ought to be a place where that hope is found. An embassy of hope, if you will.

Yet a recent Pew research project shows that a growing number of Americans claim no church affiliation whatsoever.

The hope is still found in Jesus’ Church. But is the local church serving as an embassy of hope to its community? And is the community aware that the local church is there for that purpose?

Judging by Pew’s findings, the answer seems to be “no.”

Yet it doesn’t have to be that way.

Join us during the month of May as we examine some of the essential elements that can help the local church fulfill its potential to be the Embassy of Hope.
